This inquisitive dragon has been made from porcelain. He has been glazed using a clear gloss high firing glaze to which various stains were added and mixed by hand to produce this gem like aqua marine colour. The detail to his scales were applied in black and red.

I was inspired to make this Beautiful Elephant in the style of the decorated Asian Elephants which are often seen in celebrations in India

Pink and White Mouse on Seashell

This little mouse was made from porcelain and placed on a beautiful pink seashell with a bright starfish for company. He has been glazed using a white opaque gloss high firing glaze. The details were applied in a coral pink colour. The seashell is real and is naturally a gorgeous coral pink colour as is the starfish, they both come from a tropical beach somewhere hot!

He has been glazed using a clear gloss high firing glaze to which I added a mixture of stains to achieve his orangey colouring. The details were applied in turquoise. The seashell is real and comes from a gorgeous beach somewhere hot!
