Crushed Metal Effect Bowl (ref:B009)

This bowl had been made using a buff coloured stoneware clay. The inside of the bowl was glazed in Lilac underglaze and a deeper purple underglaze was then applied with a sponge, giving a matt effect. The underside of the bowl was glazed using Heirloom Silver glaze which gives a metallic effect. The matt lilac underglaze was used to define the lattice work in the centre of the bowl.

Tripod Trinket Bowl (ref:B008)

This trinket bowl has been made using a german chocolate coloured earthenware clay. The inside was glazed with a transparent gloss to allow the natural colour of the clay to show through. The underside and the stamp were covered using an antique brass glaze giving a metallic effect.

Pot Pourri Bowl (ref:B001)

This Pot Pourri bowl has been made using a buff coloured stoneware clay. Lilac, blue and beige underglazes were then applied to this unique bowl.Turquoise glaze was sponged on to create this effect and the final piece was then glazed in a transparent gloss, whilst leavingthe natural clay on the underside which has been burnished. (NB: This item is for decorative use only / non food compatible due to type of glaze used).

Large Chocolate & Turquoise Bowl(ref:B002)

This bowl was made using a german chocolate earthenware clay. The inner surface was burnished during the drying process andturquoise stain was applied around the edge which was then covered withgloss glaze.The underside has a textured surface - overlaying this is a white slip clay which has been glazed with turquoise stain and gloss glaze.

Hibiscus Bowl (ref:B003)

This bowl was made using a sanded red earthenware clay. The shape was formed by pressing round balls of clay of various sizes into a mould. The shape was then removed from the mould and the hibiscus flower was carved into the inner surface of the bowl. This was covered in a white slip clay and later glazed in various blue tones. The underside was picked out in lime green stain and sponged glazed in various blue tones. The whole bowl was then covered in transparent gloss glaze. (NB: This item is for decorative use only / non food compatible due to type of glaze used).
